Flight Lieutenant Bobby Moore, 31, is a Qualified Flying Instructor on 72 Squadron, RAF Linton-on-Ouse. Interested in flying from an early age he gained a RAF Sixth Form Scholarship and Flying Scholarship whilst at Brentwood School in Essex. Bobby joined the RAF on leaving school in 1995. On completion of Flying Training Bobby was posted to 70 Sqn, RAF Lyneham. There he was employed in both Strategic and Tactical Air Transport Roles, flying the K model C130 Hercules. During his time on the Hercules he flew on Operations into Kosovo and Sierra Leone, was detached to the Falkland Islands and participated in major exercises in Canada, the USA and the Sultanate of Oman. In 2002 Bobby was selected for instructional duties. He firstly instructed on the Tutor at RAF Leeming and returned to Linton and the Tucano in 2004.
